The Department of Environmental Science was established in 2009 with a current intake capacity of 16 students. At present the department offers B.Sc degree in Environmental Science. The department has three faculties and one non-teaching staff. The major study area are basic and applied ecology, pollution biology, environmental impact assessment, microbiology, Bioinorganic and Environmental chemistry, bioremediation, landscape ecology, geomorphology, remote sensing, resource studies, atmospheric science, environmental toxicology and immunology.The laboratory and library facility of the Department is worth mentioning. The bondage of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the Department and also the students have made it possible the department as a successful one and this endeavor will ensure its significant contribution in the field of future Environmental Science research. In our regular activities we use to conduct seminar on related subjects, wall magazine publication. Besides theoretical and practical classes, students undertake short and long field visit, industrial visit and training center visit.
